Obituary for Samuel David Hornback Samuel David Hornback, 74, of Upton, passed away Tuesday December 18, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was born in Sonora to Samuel Edward and Dorothy Riggs Hornback. David was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He retired from Crucible Magnetic’s and was a member of Olive Hill Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ruth Hornback, Parents, a daughter, Geneva Lynn Hornback, granddaughter, Ashley Denise Smith, and grandson-in-law, Jordan Decker. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda F Hornback of Upton, KY, one son, David Edward (Tammy) Hornback of Elizabethtown, KY, three daughters, Karla (Earl) Sallee of Upton, KY, Tammy (Lenny) Cruse of Hodgenville, KY, Karen (Mark) Smith of Scottsville, KY, two sisters, Shirley Wease of Upton, KY, Becky (Ronnie) Booker of Elizabethtown, KY, four brothers, Donnie (Pat) Hornback of Sonora, KY, Kevin (Melissa) Hornback of Upton, KY, Gary Hornback of Hodgenville, KY, Doug (Joyce) Hornback of MI, 8 Grandchildren, Hannah Decker, Kellie Miller, Brandon Cruse, Caitlin Grey, Karlie Hornback, Alison Hornback, Jadyn Smith, Riley Smith, and 7 Great Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held Friday December 21, 2018 2:00 pm at Olive Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Sonora, KY With Rev.

Don Hay, and Rev. Glenn Stasel officiating. Burial will be held at the Sonora Cemetery.
