HUBBARD Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 27, 2018 at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Swierz officiating for Samuel J. Brent, 83, who died Friday morning November 23, 2018 at his home. He was born May 7, 1935 in Detroit, MI a son of Samuel and Anna Barbour Brent and lived in the area for 50 years.

Mr. Brent was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church and worked at General Motors for 32 years before retiring in 1994. He served with the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Andover, the American Legion in Hubbard and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post No. 3767 in Hubbard.

Samuel was a 45 year member of Holiday Camplands in Andover, where he spent his summers with his entire family. He leaves his wife, the former JoAnn D. Hoover, whom he married June 20, 1980; five sons, Richard Brent and his wife Kim of Youngstown, Vincent Bonetti of Campbell, Douglas Bonetti of Boyers, PA, Donald Bonetti of Campbell and Bruce Brent and his wife RaeAnn of Hubbard; three daughters, Karen Zurcher and her husband Carl of Youngstown, Tina Hoback and her husband Terry of Andover and Tammy Brent of Hubbard; a sister Joan Hotz of Garden City, MI; 25 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Samuel was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Patti Klazon; a son, Bradley Brent; two brothers, George and Fred Brent; two sisters, Lucy Ann Makowski and Margaret Dickson.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday November 27, 2018, two hours prior to the funeral services from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Please visit www.
