Samuel Nathaniel Carter, Sr., 82, of 6294 Murphy Road, Stedman, died Monday, February 25, 2019 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 2pm at Miracle Temple Holy Deliverance Church of God in Fayetteville. Burial will follow in Moore’s Chapel AME Zion Church Cemetery in Stedman.

He is survived by his daughters, Karen Carter of MO, Sharon Burwell of Charlotte, Lawand Carter, Tywand Carter, Nartarchra Brayboy and LaTarcha Carter, all of Fayetteville. Sons, Samuel Carter, Jr. of CA, Brian Carter, Troy Carter, Kevin Carter and Corey Carter all of Fayetteville. Sisters, Esterine Moore of Stedman and Vernell Holloway and Eunice Byrd both of Fayetteville.

Brothers, Harold Carter and Reginald Carter, Sr. both of Fayetteville, along with nineteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. A viewing will be held on Friday from 5-7pm at Moore’s Chapel AME Zion Church in Stedman Arrangements by Herring Funeral Care & Cremations.
