Remaly, 92, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 5, 2019 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Born April 1, 1926 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Preston H. and Mamie (Peters) Remaly. Samuel was employed at the Bethlehem Steel Corp.

for 43 years. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He attended and played basketball for Moravian College.

He was dad, best friend, idol and hero to his children and their families. Survivors: son, Stephen and his wife, Roseann; daughter, Debra Farkas and husband, Richard; son, Glen and his wife, Donna; son, Randy and his wife, Martina; daughter, Donna L. Remaly; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; pet beagles, Abbey and Hanna. Services: Burial with military honors will be in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown, PA and will be private at the request of the family.

Contributions: Memorials may be presented to St. Luke’s Hospice or Griswold Home Care c/o Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton, PA in loving memory of Samuel. Online condolences may be submitted above.
