Samuel E. Warner, age 77 of Sidney, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Wilson Health. He was born October 1, 1941 in Potsdam, Ohio to father Kermit S. Warner and mother Ida Catherine (Wright) Warner who preceded him in death. He married Carolyn (Shaw) Warner on September 21, 1973 and she survives.

Samuel is survived by daughters Teri Warner of Lodi, CA, Suzi Warner of Las Vegas, NV; sisters Kay (Vernon) Flick of Potsdam, Linda (Steven) Shaurer of Laura, Ohio; brothers David L. Warner of New Lebanon, Ohio, Kermit L (Eve) Warner of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a brother Ernest Warner. Samuel was a retired draftsman and 1959 graduate of Milton Union High School in West Milton, Ohio.

He loved basketball and classic cars. He was a member of Pleiades Chapter #298 Order of Eastern Star, Sidney, and Temperance Lodge #73 of Sidney. A Celebration of Life will be held October 20, 2018 from 9:30 AM -11:00 AM at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney.

Services by Eastern Star will precede the 11:00 AM service officiated by Reverend Joe Pumphrey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Pavilion’s Activity Fund in Sidney. Condolences may be expressed online at theadamsfuneralhome.com.
