Sandy’s Obituary Sandra Elaine “Sandy” Moran Dietz, 63, of Tuscola, IL, passed away suddenly at 6:55 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2019 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with Rev. Joseph Carter officiating. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Sandy was born on May 26, 1955 in Tuscola, IL, the daughter of George S. “Shorty” and Elizabeth “Betty” Wishard Moran. She married Kenneth R. Dietz on February 15, 1992 in Tuscola, IL. He survives.

Also surviving are her son: Trevor Dietz of Tuscola, brother: George P. Moran of Tuscola, sisters: Darlene Moran and Shelly Cunningham both of Tuscola. She was preceded in death by her parents. Sandy had previously worked at Dairy Queen in Tuscola for 23 years.

She graduated from Tuscola Community High School in 1973. Sandy loved playing slots and bingo, but she loved her family most of all. Memorials are suggested to help pay for burial expenses.
