Obituary for Sandy Headlee Sandy Headlee, age 75 of Yutan, died Sunday April 29, 2018 in Omaha. She was born September 12, 1942 in Menlo, Iowa to Francis Verle and Lora Pearl (Jensen) Nungesser. On June 18, 1961 Sandy married Donald Leon Headlee in Norfolk, NE.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Lisa Jo Headlee, and brothers Donald and Bobby Nungesser. Sandy is survived by her husband Don Headlee of Yutan; children Lora (Jerry) Markham of Weeping Water, Melanie (Israel) Amaro of Omaha, Ray Lee (Jan) Nungesser of Weeping Water; brother Steve (Deb) Nungesser of Lincoln; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be at 10 am Saturday at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Yutan.

Graveside services will be at 2 pm Saturday at Pilger Cemetery, Pilger, NE. Memorials may be given to the family for a later designation. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Sandy Headlee please visit our Sympathy Store.
