Sandy J. Wyand (Frisque), 75, Green Bay, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born on January 4, 1943 as the eldest daughter of the late Harold and Eloise (LeRoy) Frisque from De Pere, WI. After graduating from St. Joesph’s Academy in 1961, she entered The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondolet, St. Louis Missouri.

In 1964 Sandywent to beauty school after leaving the convent. Sandy married in 1966 and had two sons, Mike and Scott. As a single mother of two young boys in her mid-30’s, she put herself though college and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from UWGB in 1981.

She met her husband of 35 years, Jerry Wyand, in 1982 and was married in 1983. Together they enjoyed concerts, attending theatrical performances, weekends and vacations at their trailer at Popp’s Resort in Crivitz, WI and many anniversaries spent in Door County. She also enjoyed spending time with friends and attending concerts at the Green Bay Botanical Gardens.

Sandy’s Catholic faith was strong throughout her life. She was active in the church choir, was dedicated to bible study and was a lecturer for the church. She found her calling to care for others during the early 1990’s after earning her Certified Nursing Assistant license.

She worked at Woodside Assisted Living and then moved to Home Instead Senior Care, providing in-home healthcare until her retirement in 2015. Sandy is survived by her husband, Jerry; sons, Mike (Lynda) Pigeon and Scott Pigeon; step-daughter, Lynn Wyand; five grandchildren, Tyler Wyand-Williams, Tawni Urso, Jack Pigeon, Finn Pigeon and Harrison Pigeon; sister, Beth (David) Van De Ven and her brother, Rick (Diane) Frisque. Sandy is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jim Frisque.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A prayer service will take place at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 2270 South Oneida Street, from 10:00 am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.

Rev. Michael Ingold will be officiating. Expressions of sympathy, memories, and photos may be shared with Sandy’s family on her tribute page at www.

lyndahl.com. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Sandy’s name and will be given to Unity Hospice. The family would like to thank the staff at the Jack and Engrid Meng Unity Hospice Residence for their wonderful care given to Sandy during her stay.
