OBITUARY Sarah G. Hassell November 7, 1919 – February 6, 2019 Sarah Gladys Hassell of Birmingham, Alabama, formerly of Winfield, Alabama passed away on February 6, 2019, at the age of 99. She was a member of Huffman Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Hassell, and her granddaughter, Cheree A. Miller.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, John R. Hassell (Virginia); Granddaughter, Jacqueline N. Lavier (Kyle); Great-granddaughter, Kayla Williams (Chris); Great-grandson, Jarred Lavier; and Great-great granddaughter, Kylie Grace Williams. She was retired from Avondale Mills after 20 years of service. Funeral service will be on Friday, February 8, 2019, at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel at 2:00 pm with a visitation beginning at 1 pm.

Burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Reverend Larry Smith officiating.
