Obituary for Sarah Pollard Mrs. Sarah Ellen Richardson Pollard, age 81, passed away on April 26, 2018. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2PM in the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Milledgeville. Burial will be at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1PM until the service hour. Mrs. Pollard was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Frances Thackerson Richardson and was preceded in death by her son, Samual Glen Pollard, and 3 sisters and 1 brother. Mrs. Pollard had lived at Lake Sinclair since 1989 having moved from Macon.

Mrs. Pollard’s true calling was to be a mother as she was very devoted to her family. Mrs. Pollard enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed boating and fishing. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Billie “Jack” Pollard; daughters, Pamela (Freddie) Mullin of Juliette and Linda (Sonny) DeFore of Byron; 4 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren, sister, Martha Jean Newman of Locust Grove, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of Flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
