Sarah’s Obituary Sarah Van Geest, age 91, of Hudsonville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 26, 2019. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry Van Geest; parents, Ben and Jenny Emelander; sister, Elizabeth Elders; brothers, Donald, Albert and Bern Emelander. She is survived by her sons; Bob, Jim (Barb), Jack (Linda), Doug, Greg (Deb); 20 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sister, Jeanette and Bernie DeRoo; sisters-in-law, Ella Jane Emelander, Rose Emelander; many nieces and nephews.

Sarah was a school bus driver in Hudsonville for many years. Funeral services for Sarah will be held on Thursday, May 30, at 11:00 A.M. at Fellowship Reformed Church, 6610 36th Ave. Hudsonville, MI 49426, with Rev.

Jeremy Visser officiating. Interment Georgetown Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at VanderLaan Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 29, from 5 to 8 P.M. and on Thursday from 10 to 11 A.M. at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
