Sean’s Obituary Sean Allen Roselund, 46, of South Kingstown, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 8, 2019. Sean was a 1990 graduate of Westerly High School. He served in the U.S. Army from July 1990 to September 1994.

First he was sent to Germany, when Operation Desert Storm broke out, Sean was also deployed to Iraq in the Persian Gulf. He was later deployed to Somalia for the United Nations Operation in Somalia and our humanitarian effort there until 1994 when he returned to the states and was honorably discharged. Sean was very proud of his service to our country in the U.S. Army, and always considered it his highest achievement.

After returning to civilian life, Sean worked as a Security Guard at Foxwoods Casino from 1995 to 1997. He later worked at Ocean State Liquor Store until 2000 and then at Charborts Mill until 2004. Sean was always interested in military history and had a vast knowledge of military events that took place between World War II to the present.

He was also a longtime fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. Sean leaves his father, Robert, and brother, Brian, both living in Palm Harbor, FL, and was pre-deceased by his mother, Kate, in 2016. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, and cousins in Rhode Island, Vermont, and California, along with many friends where he resided in Wakefield, RI, and throughout the state.
