Selina “Sally” Jeanette Pofahl October 19, 1924 – February 08, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Selina “Sally” Jeanette (Urevig) Pofahl, 94, died on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Diamond Willow Assisted Living in Baxter, Minnesota. No services are planned at this time. Sally was born in Fargo, North Dakota on October 19, 1924, to Gladys (Rabbe) Urevig and Iver Julius Urevig.

They lived in Williston, North Dakota before moving to Northfield, Minnesota where Sally went to grade school and high school. She graduated with honors with the class of 1942. Sally worked for Northwestern Bell in Northfield as a Customer Service Representative until her marriage to Ralph Pofahl.

They were married on November 15, 1948 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Northfield. They lived in Northfield, where they owned and operated their café, “Poofies Pantry” until 1963, when they moved to the Brainerd area. They had a lake home and then built a home west of Baxter.

Sally enjoyed volunteering, gardening, fishing and puzzles, working at the Paul Bunyan Motel, and casino trips. She was a member of First Lutheran Church of Pillager. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph and her parents, Iver Julius and Gladys Urevig.
