Selma Faye Maxwell August 8, 1944 – May 17, 2019 Funeral services for Selma Faye Maxwell will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home chapel in Hugo, OK with Pastor Travis Farmer officiating; burial will follow at the Sawyer Cemetery in Sawyer, OK. Faye passed away May 17, 2019, in Hugo, OK at the age of 74. Selma ‘Faye’ (Holland) Maxwell was born August 8, 1944, in Sawyer, OK, to Walter Holland and Pauline (Shaw) Holland.

Faye loved people, she never met a stranger, and she lived life to the fullest. Faye loved to dance, plant flowers, and gardening. Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Pauline Holland.

Faye is survived by her companion of many years, Charles Pitts; son, Troy Holland, and wife, Corennia; sisters Mary McNabb, Geneva Baze, Sandra Ward, and Sara Holland; grandchildren, Paige Holland, Cailin Moore, Trey Holland, and Preslee Holland; and great-grandchild, Vaelin Parker. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 20, 2019, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel.
