Obituary for Shannon Anita Jarrett Shannon Anita (Fryer) Jarrett was born on May 25, 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Wallace and Kathleen Fryer(Blevins) and passed on to her heavenly reward on June 27, 2018 in North Little Rock. Shannon worked for a number of years at Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Shannon loved travelling with family, camping with her son, tending to her garden and training and playing with her cats.

Shannon was a generous person who literally gave up her last morsel of food for those in need. Her spirit will live on in all who knew her. Shannon was preceded in death by her father and mother and is survived by her son Michial Shayne Elam of Bakersfield, CA.

, sister Kelly (Curtis) Rickard of Hot Springs; brother Scott (Linda) Fryer of North Little Rock; nieces, Heather (Jeremy) Vaughan and Courtney (Jim) Parks; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her beloved cats, Nicki and Smokey. In keeping with her wishes there will be no funeral. Shannon and her family would be grateful for any memorials to be given to FURR or any other local animal rescue services.

There will be a celebration of her life at Levy Church of Christ Family Center on Saturday, July 7, 2018, from 4:00-5:00pm. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Shannon Anita Jarrett please visit our Sympathy Store.
