SHARON ANN DODDS, age 82, of Washington CH, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 5:31 a.m. at her home. She was born on November 28, 1936 in Pulaski County, Kentucky to Calvin and Geneva Baker Waddle. She was a graduate of Patterson Co-Op High School in Dayton, Ohio.

Sharon retired from Mac Tools where she worked as an office clerk. She had been an active and long-time member at the First Baptist Church in Washington CH. Sharon was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She enjoyed going to Church and being with her family. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lowell Dodds; daughter, Terri Lynn Rife; and aunts, Lucille Ballou, and Edith Masseney. Survivors include her son, Steven (Rachel) Vermillion, and step-son, Randall (Joanie) Dodds; grandchildren, Aaron (Veronica) Rife, Bethanie Rife, Holly (Tyler) Rinehart, and Thomas (Desiree) Vermillion; great-granddaughter, Gabrielle Rife; cousins, Michelle Masseney, and Richard (Connie) Ballou; and special friend, Mary E. Brownlee.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Current officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Heartland Hospice, 205 North St., Lucasville, OH 45648 or the First Baptist Church, 301 E. East St., Washington CH, OH 43160.
