Obituary for Sharon Ann Hamby Sharon Ann Hamby, 80 of Gautier, passed from this life on Sunday, November 25, 2018 in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Sharon was born January 27, 1938 in Nashville, Tennessee. Mrs. Hamby retired from Corning Glass in Pascagoula.

She was a member of Gautier Baptist Church, now Spanish Trail Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Benton Gibbs and Laura Belle Gibbs; three brothers, Henry Clay Gibbs, William Archie Gibbs, J.D. Gibbs and niece, Sheila Bernard. Survivors include one sister, Willmer Dean Gibbs; eight nieces, Cindy Jones, Nancy Leathers, Phyllis Dearman, Vivian Hand, Wanda Medlen, Henrietta “Lena” Kuhn, Brenda Kay McAulife and Patricia Quintel; nephews, William “Billy” Gibbs, Joe Gibbs, David Gibbs and a host of great-nieces; great-nephews; other relatives and many friends.

A memorial service celebrating Mrs. Hamby’s life will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 6:00pm at Spanish Trail Baptist Church in Gautier with Rev. H.C. Lewallen officiating. Friends and family may share condolences at www.
