Brown-Mack Funeral Home Sharon E. Scott, 74, of Montezuma, died Saturday, July 27, 2018, at her residence in Montezuma. She was born February 7, 1944, in Clinton, to Herman Lawson and Mary Jackman Lawson. Sharon was a homemaker.

She was a 50 year member of Eastern Star #537 and belonged to the Daughters of the Nile. She was a member of the Montezuma Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lois Lawson; and a brother, Roy Lawson.

She is survived by her husband, Les Scott of Montezuma, whom she married on May 16, 1964, in Montezuma. Also surviving are her children, Lyle (Becky) Scott of Montezuma, Joyce (Tim) Cox of West Lebanon, IN, and Judy (Terry) Dudley of Linton; one brother, Paul (Peggy) Lawson of Lafayette IN; 2 sisters, Eleanor (Bud) Girt of Anderson, and Karen Morton of Anderson; 3 grandchildren, Lake Scott, Ashlyn Scott, and Sydney Dudley; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 31 from 4 to 8 pm at Brown-Mack Funeral Home with Eastern Star services at 7:30 pm.

Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 1 at 11 am with Rev. Greg Goodrick officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery in Montezuma.
