Sharon Faye (Crowder) Chambers, 71, of Salida died May 18, 2019. She was born July 19, 1947, in Manzanola to Ralph and Fern Crowder. She married Arthur Chambers of Rocky Ford on July 25, 1969.

Mrs. Chambers transported students with disabilities for Denver Public Schools. She loved her time there and made many friends with whom she kept in touch throughout the years. Her family said she was very family-oriented and loved her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband; son, Terry (Nicole) Chambers of Pine; daughter, Kandrah (Patrick) Rabas of Cotopaxi; grandchildren, Tyler Chambers, Travis Chambers and Shiloh Rabas; sisters, Carolyn Tyler of Salida, Willie Garcia of LaJunta, Billie Jean (Ralph) Valdez of Salida and Jackie (Noah) McKelvin of Littleton; and brothers, Larry (Cheri) Crowder of Alamosa and Buddy Crowder of Erie. Her graveside services will take place at Manzanola Cemetery at a later date.
