Sharon Frances Craver, 60, of Big Spring, Texas went to be with the Lord Friday, September 14, 2018 after a lengthy illness. She was born October 4, 1957 to SMSGT James Ignatius Craver and Shirley May (Allor) Craver in Lubbock, Texas at Reese Air Force Base. She moved to Big Spring TX in December of 1970 when her father, James, was stationed at Webb Air Force Base where he retired after 30 years of military service.
She was a life-long resident of Big Spring, Texas and a graduate of Big Spring… Read More » High School in 1975. She resided in Mt. Clemens, MI; Lubbock, TX, Aviano, Italy, and Big Spring, TX.
Sharon was a devout Christian woman who remained unwavering in her Christian belief. She loved her family dearly and was grateful for her parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, great-niece, and great-nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was an artist who took great pleasure in her artwork.
She is survived by her brother Reverend Jim Craver and sister-in-law Diana Craver of Seguin TX; sister Colleen Craver and sister-in-law Debbie Lain of Big Spring, TX; niece Stephanie Cross, nephew-in-law, Ben Cross, and great-niece Ryland Cross of New Branufels, TX; nephew James Craver, niece-in-law Ying-Xu Craver, and great-nephew Jing-Yong Craver of Boston, MA; niece Amanda Kroeker, nephew-in-law Anthony Kroeker, and great-nephew, Aedyn Kroeker of McAllen, TX; brother-in-law Dero Shaw of Knott, TX; nephew Sloan Shaw of Canyon, TX; cousin Chuck and Nancy Mault of Florida and their children, and cousin David and Brenda Mault of Big Spring, TX and their children. Aunt Patricia Allor and her children, and Aunt Isabelle Allor and her children; and several cousins. She is preceded in death by her father SMSGT James Ignatius Craver, mother Shirley May (Allor) Craver, sister Jeanine (Craver) Shaw, grandmother Helen Allor, uncle Walter Allor Jr., uncle Robert (Bob) Allor, aunt Louise Mault, and aunt Virginia Kerbleski.
Cousins: Ralph Mault, Walter Mault, Bill Mault, Rick Mault. Visitation is from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Thursday, 9/20/2018 at Myers and Smith Funeral Home and Chapel of Big Spring. Funeral services will be held Friday, 9/21/2018 at 1100AM at Myers & Smith Funeral Home and Chapel 301 E. 24th Street, Big Spring, TX, with Chaplain Brad Daniels, Hospice of West Texas, officiating.
Internment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of West Texas (formerly Compass Hospice) at 1900 S. Gregg, Suite C, Big Spring, TX 79720. Arrangements are under the direction of Myers and Smith Funeral Home and Chapel of Big Spring.
