OBITUARY Sharon Sue Hunter November 8, 1937 – November 9, 2018 Sharon Sue Hunter, 81 of Kokomo, passed away peacefully at her home Friday November 9, 2018. She was born November 8, 1937 to the late Herman Yocom and Mary Yocom (Tomlinson) in Kokomo. Sharon was a retiree from Delco Electronics after 25 years of service.

She was a faithful long time member of Southside Apostolic Church in Kokomo. Sharon loved her grandchildren and her critters. She also loved flowers, giving to others, and most importantly, she loved her Jesus.

Sharon is survived by her son Max Hunter (Christina), grandchildren Rachel Hunter, Emily Hawkins (Jordan), Adrian Hildebrand (Kyle), Christopher Hunter, and two great grandchildren Lennox and Lyndon. She is also survived by her sister Mary Martin (Larry), brother in law Cloyd Myers, four nephews and two great aunts. Those that have preceded Sharon in death are her parents, former husband James Morris Hunter, brothers Max and Norman Yocom, one sister Nancy Myers and great niece Stephanie Martin.

A Home Going Celebration for Sharon will take place Thursday November 15, 2018 at Southside Apostolic Church; 1716 E. Firmin Street at 11 a.m. The family will offer visiting hours from 4p.m. to 8p.m. Wednesday evening at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel; 3400 South Webster Street. Burial will take place at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Please, in lei of flowers, contributions may be made to Southside Apostolic Church.
