Obituary for Shawn M. Greer Shawn M. Greer, 27, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 28, 2018. Shawn was born on June 1, 1991, in New Hartford, New York, the son of John Greer and Michele (Fuller) Greer. He graduated from Frankfort Schools and was a machinist at Remington Arms.
Shawn was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping with his family. He was a lifetime New Orleans Saints fan. Shawn cherished time with his girlfriend, Nicole and her children, whose childhood he was such a big part of.
He also loved goofing around with his nephew, Butters (Johnny). His brothers will always miss the times they had together and cherish all the childhood memories they had growing up. His mother will always miss her “Shawny” and especially the times they spent together watching their favorite movies.
Surviving besides his loving mother, Michele (Tim Hoch) Greer, Canastota, are his girlfriend, Nicole Dunham, Ilion, and her children, Gianna and Gabriella; brothers, Edward (Cori) Jasewicz, Westmoreland, and Brandon Greer, Albany; aunts and uncles, Carol (Frank) Asselta, Yorkville, David (Geri) Fuller, Utica, Terry (Saveria) Fuller, Utica, George (Debra) Penree, Canastota and Jeff Greer, Tennessee; grandparents, Ray (Carol) Greer and Toni Stallone, Tennessee; nieces and nephews, Johnny, Alyana and P.J. and several cousins. He was blessed to have great friends throughout his life, Mark, Dylan, Dan, Meg, Lorraine, Vic, Alissa, Zac and Jimmy. Shawn was predeceased by his father, John Greer, and grandparents, Carl and Violet Fuller.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather Saturday at 10 am at McGrath, Myslinski, Karboski & Nunn Funeral Directors, 470 French Rd. , Utica. Shawn’s Celebration of Life will commence at 11 am.
