Sheila A. Rogers January 18, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook An angel on earth, and now in heaven, Sheila Anne Rogers, 67, born August 7, 1951, made her passage peacefully on January 18, 2019, at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, where she had been a resident for the past ten years. A funeral service to celebrate Sheila’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage, with Father Raymond Burkle officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Osage.

Although Sheila was disabled from an aggressive bout with meningitis at the tender age of 4 months, her ready smile and joyful heart touched the lives of all those who she encountered. Sheila was a bright light and a shining star. She loved completing her puzzles and walked through life filled with innocence and childlike purity of spirit.

She was preceded in death, just six months ago, by her dedicated parents, James and Mildred Rogers. She is survived by her devoted sister, Jeanine Gaynor of Prescott, Arizona; her nephew, Daniel Boylan of Benicia, California; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins across the country. Thank you to all of those who have cared for her lovingly at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center and to her local extended family who enhanced the quality of her life by their visits and love.
