Chester, WV. Shelby J. Conley, 69 of Chester and formerly of Beaver, Pennsylvania, passed away at the Stone Pear Pavilion in Chester on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, following a lengthy Illness. Born in Springfield, OH.

, on September 7, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Edith Palmer Conley. A Licensed Practical Nurse, Shelby retired from Passavant Memorial Homes in Rochester. She received her LPN from CCBC, and she was a graduate of Center High School.

Shelby had attended the Hookstown Free Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Debbie Ash, Vi Colangelo, Kaye Conley, Leatha Conley, and George Conley. Surviving is one sister, Nancy Hall and her husband Dale of Chester, her brother, Russ Conley and his wife Sandy of Burgettstown, PA.

, and her brother-in-law, Terry Ash of Wrightsville, PA. Numerous and nieces and nephews survive as well. Shelby’s family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at the Stone Pear Pavilion for the wonderful, compassionate care and friendship shown to their love one during her stay there.

In fulfilling Shelby’s wishes, no services are planned. Private interment services will be held at Mill Creek Hill Cemetery in Georgetown, at the convenience of the family. These services are in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, WV.
