Lanny Bruce Sines, 65, of Wellsville and formerly of Newell, passed away unexpectedly at his home, on Friday, November 16, 2018, following a brief illness. Born, September 28, 1953, in East Liverpool, he was a son of the late William O. Sines Jr. and Dorothy “Betty” Underwood Beaver Bruce was also preceded in death by his brother, David J. Shultz; sister, Carolyn Sue Tarver and Step-Father Victor Beaver. He was a graduate from Beaver Local High School, and he was a Free Methodist by faith.

He retired from Homer Laughlin China Co. in 2015 with 39 years. Bruce was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State University fan, and he enjoyed Native American History. Also, he had a great affinity for horror movies.

He is survived by his sister, Diana Hooper of Wellsville; brothers, William C. Sines and his wife Patty of East Liverpool, Timothy Shultz of Homeworth, OH. and Daniel Shultz and his wife Debbie of Florida. Many special nieces and nephews Survive as well.

Pastor Dirk Hall will celebrate Bruce’s life at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018, at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Interment will follow at the Spring Hill Cemetery in Wellsville.
