Susan M. Bebout, 74, of Newell, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, December 21, 2018. She passed at her home in Newell after becoming suddenly ill. Born, August 14, 1944, in East Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Helen Brookes McKenna She worked for many years as the Manager of the Decorating Department at Homer Laughlin China Company.

Raised in Newell, Susie was a 1962 graduate of Wells High School and she was a member of the Christian Assembly in Industry. Susie was a hard-working, family-oriented woman who was dedicated to her family, friends, and her church. She especially loved the time spent at the beach with her family.

She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Clifford L. Bebout; sons, Steve Harless and his wife Jackie of Waukon, IA. , and Joseph G. Geisse IV and his wife Vicky of Chester; daughter’s, Corda “Corky” Walker and her husband Kenny of St. Francisville, LA. , and Donna Lee Blankenship and her husband Don.

Susie is also survived by her grandchildren, Zack, Luke, and Nick Harless, Maygan Montz, Amanda Robinson, and Evan and Gavin Geisse; seven great-grandchildren; and her adopted grandchildren, Shane, and Danielle Timmons. In addition, she leaves her in-laws, Kay Starr, Linda Thompson, June Gatrell, and Don Bebout; and Gifter as well as the rest of her furry friends that she has cared for over the years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ted McKenna; her sister, Martha Fenton; her mother and father-in-law, Eugenia and Wilbur Bebout; and her sister-in-law, Kathleen Smith.

Pastor William Anzevino of the church will celebrate Susie’s life on Monday, December 24, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Interment will follow at the Locust Hill Cemetery in Chester.
