Sherri Hardy Miller, 46, was suddenly taken to meet her Heavenly Father at her home on Saturday, May 19, 2018. Sherri was born and raised in Plantersville, AL. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Oliver and Nolvice Bearden and Dalene Mull; three uncles, Wayne Mott, Eulin Houston, and Wayne Hardy.

Sherri is survived by her husband, Michael Miller; two special weekend children, Marcus Byrd and Kaleb Lynn; parents, Garland and Dianne Hardy; sister, Rhonda Johnson (Bryan); nephew, Justin Abbott (Brandi); two nieces, Katie and Kellee Abbott; three aunts, Nena Mott, Nita Houston, and Carolyn Hardy and her sweet fur baby, which she rescued from a flooding drainage ditch, Souka. Sherri was employed as Human Re Director of Global Security Glazing, and former manager with Manpower. Sherri leaves behind many, many precious friends and co-workers.

Many knew and loved her because of her big heart and smile, her tender compassion for others and her ability to go over and above to love everyone. She leaves a legacy to this world of peace and unity. While she was not perfect, she only saw a need to enhance perfection in others, as well as herself, and gave so freely of herself to accomplish this work.

She will be missed by many. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Plantersville Baptist Church with Rev. Don Stephens officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Burial will follow in the Plantersville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, May 24, 2018 at the Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home in Selma. Pallbearers will be Dan Lane, Jimmy Ruff, Darren Atchison, Hunter Myers, Jarvis McGee, and Chris Reid.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the employees of Global Security Glazing, her second family. In lieu of flowers, which she loved, she would more so want contributions to a near and dear cause in her life with foster children.
