Sherri JoAnn Ricco, 51 Sherri JoAnn Ricco, 51, formerly of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away January 20, 2019 at Kootenai Health of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She was born November 23, 1967 in Van Buren, Arkansas; Sherri was the daughter of John and Norma (Bennett) Ricco. Sherri attended and graduated from Farmington High School, class of 1985.

Sherri then went to work as an EMT for many years before retiring. Sherri was also on the Laplata District 4 Volunteer Fire Department. She had a passion for helping others in their time of need and was loved by all whom she has helped.

Sherri recently moved to the Silver Valley to be closer to her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren coloring, listening to music and watching TV shows. Sherri is survived by her daughter Sha’lea Brown; three grandchildren Kara Stahle, Jayden Calvert and Levi Brown; her sister Sandra (Rick) Jones and their children Abby, John and Tyler.

She is also survived by her Aunt Joann Massengale and cousin’s Lacleta Aikens and Sheila Thomas. Sherri was preceded in death by her parents and Aunt Sue Watson. Cremation will take place and a Celebration of Sherri’s life will be held at a later date in Farmington, New Mexico.
