OBITUARY Sherry Lynn Richards Farr November 22, 1956 – September 27, 2018 Sherry Lynn Richards Farr, age 61, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on Thursday September 27, 2018. Sherry was born November 22, 1956 to Charlie and Bobbie Ruth Brooks in Dallas, Texas. Sherry had a heart of gold.

She loved life and was loved by all. She was a hard worker who moved her way up from receptionist to accountant. She spent 15 years with Ashley Furniture before retiring in 2017.

Sherry was extremely lucky and enjoyed playing Bingo and going to Vegas with her husband Tommy. They would always eat at Roxy’s on their way into town. Sherry’s enjoyed traveling.

She spent time living in Germany, traveled all over Europe and the States. However, her greatest passion was her family. Spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren gave her all the joy in the world.

A visitation for Sherry will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 12:00 PM, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. A committal service will occur Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.

Serving as pallbearers are Brandon Delaval, Johnny Street, Jett Melton, Steve Grunden, Nick Lastowski, Claude Pence and James Delgadillo. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www. grandprairiefh.com for the Richards Farr family.
