Obituary for Sheryl Delone Nickle (Bates) Sheryl Delone Nickle (Bates) 61 years of age Passed on September 30th 2018 @ Utah Valley Hospital in Provo Utah Born on April 25th 1957 @ LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City Utah to Kay Delone Bates (Ewell) and Kay Bates She has lived in many places in her life including Arizona, California and this beautiful home state of Utah. Mom loved her family and friends. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.

She enjoyed making things with crafts of flowers or baskets and making baby blankets for new arrivals. She enjoyed playing card games and dice and putting puzzles together. If someone needed help she would do what she could do to lend a helping hand.

She always tried her best to be there for others who needed her. Sheryl had many qualities, her sense of humor was the most noticeable, always smiling and quick to share a laugh! Mom had a silver tongue, witty as ever she had the gift of “gab” that’s for sure!

No matter the situation she was put in, mom always found the good in it! Survived by her children; Mandy K. Martin (Darin), Jo Lynn McCoy, Daniel J. Nickle (Richelle), Katie A. Smart (Trevor), and Aaron J. Nickle. Grandchildren; Tristan and Traeger Farley, Nathan, Kaylee and Jaxson Martin, Zackary McCoy and Kaleb Hanish, Abbie and Maddie Nickle, Trey, Cole and Zane Smart, and Casey, Starlie and Aidan Nickle.

Her brothers Roger (Suzanne) Bates, Larry (Cheryl) Bates, Stewart (Pam) Bates, and Keith (Linda) Bates. Her sisters Victoria Bates and Janey (Thomas) Callaghan. And the many many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Many friends! Preceded in death by; mother Kay Delone Bates and father Kay Bates, brother Kim Bates. Aunts and Uncles and Grandparents Sheryl wanted a celebration of life that will take place on Oct 20th 2018.

Where and time to be announced at a later time thank you for your patience My sibling and I wanted to say a many thanks to all the staff at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo and at the Uintah Basin Medical Center for all your care that you provided for her in her stay there. And we wanted to say thank you to all the family that has been helping her and us along the way. You have been such a big help and I hold you in my heart all of you thank you so much!
