Obituary for George Thomas Layton George Thomas Layton, 68, died peacefully on Friday November 23, 2018. Tom was born on August 7, 1950 in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Tom was adopted and raised by his Grandparents Selma Josephine Layton and Horton George Layton.

He was sealed to Millie Layton, the Love of his Life, in 1979 at the Salt Lake Temple. Tom will be remembered for his sense of humor, being outgoing, friendly and accepting of everyone. He was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather.

He will be greatly missed. Tom is survived by his wife, Millie Layton; his sons, Thomas Layton and Troy Layton; his Daughter Jodi Layton and Grand-Daughter Zoe Layton. He is preceded in death by many family members.

Tom’s funeral will be held on November 29th 2018 at 11:00 am at the Magna East Stake Center (7960 West Dalesend Drive Magna, UT 84044). A Viewing will be held Wednesday, November 28th 2018 at the Magna East Stake Center from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and on November 29th from 10:00 am to 10:45 am. Interment will be held after the funeral at Sunset Gardens (1950 E Dimple Dell Road 10600 S, Sandy, UT 84092).
