Obituary for Kent Lee Nielson Kent Lee Nielson,the youngest of seven born to Glyda and Kirk Nielson on February 26th, 1963 in Salt Lake City, UT. He passed away peacefully at home on December 18, 2018 after a courageous battle with metastatic colon cancer. Kent lived his life freely using his great skills as a contractor and in construction as a perfectionist in the art.

His best art was his woodworking craft including specialty treasure boxes and toy boxes which he gave as gifts to his family. He had a gift of finding what others consider junk and refinishing into a treasured piece. He enjoyed being outdoors and in the desert area around Huntington and the mountains hanging out at the cabin, fishing and hunting always with his dogs.

He is survived by his mother Glyda, children, Stephanie (Chris), Valerie (Josh), grandchildren Peyton and Liam, sister Nan (Frank) and many nieces and nephews as well as his dog and best friend October. Kent married Jennifer Wickham April 23, 1983; later divorced. They had twin girls, Stephanie Hope and Valerie Noel.

Kent then later married Kathleen Norman in October of 2012. Kent is preceded in death by his wife Kathleen, father Kirk, brothers Steve, Chad, David, Paul Trent, sister Amy, and nephew Tyler. A viewing will be held Friday December 21, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM located at the Murray LDS church, 160 East 4600 South.

Followed by a grave side service which will be held in Huntington, Utah Cemetery between 2:30 and 3:00 PM.
