Obituary for Edward A Hall Our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather passed away peacefully in his home December 27th at the age of 91. Edward was born January 8, 1928 in St. George Utah to Calvin and Jennie Hall. He loved growing up in the St. George area.

At the age of 18 he enlisted in The United states army and was sent to Tokyo Japan during the World War II occupation where He guarded the Emperors Palace. Edward was very proud of his military service and loved to tell his kids and grandkids his military stories, or anyone else who would listen for that matter. Edward was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

He was a very compassionate and loving person. He had a really cute personality and a great sense of humor. He had many jobs throughout his life, including Carrot washer, Carpenter, Correctional Officer and Security officer.

Edward is survived by his wife Laurie Hall and five children, Eddie Hall, Alan Hall, Diane Hanson (Leroy Hanson), Alisa Dickinson (Aaron Chambers), and Sarah Avery (Tony Avery) 12 Grandkids and 14 Great Grandkids. Edwards greatest joy in life were his children and grandchildren. He was a great father.

He loved to do activities with his kids such as camping and swimming and he always welcomed the neighbor kids and his nieces and nephews to join in. Edward is going to be greatly missed by many. Edward was preceded in death by his parents Calvin and Jennie Hall and his brother Calvin Hall.

A viewing will be held at the LDS Chapel located at 10376 Leilani Drive n Sandy, Utah at 10AM. A celebration of life will follow at the same location at 11:30AM. Upcoming Events Viewing , DEC 31.
