Obituary for Connie Jean Mickelsen Thalman Our beloved wife and mother, Connie Jean Mickelsen Thalman, passed away November 3, 2018, at her home after a long battle with dementia. She leaves behind her loving family; her husband of 64 years, Ernest Don Thalman; three daughters Debbie (George) Jacobs, Pam (John) Barton, and Terri Renner, one son Roger Thalman and her adopted son Matt, six grandchildren – Christopher, Devin, Angie, Callie, Heidi, and Hannah, and four great-grandchildren – Easton, Layla, Megan, and Danielle. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

There will be a viewing at the LDS Milton church, 1255 N Morgan Valley Drive in Morgan, Utah, on Thursday November 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. and the funeral services will be held on Friday November 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Milton LDS church with a viewing one hour prior to the funeral at 10 a.m. Connie was active in the LDS church, serving in many positions but mostly loved working with the children. She served as primary president, worked in the Scouts, and taught for many years in the Primary and Relief Society. She volunteered as a teacher’s aide at the elementary school and worked for a time at the rest home in Morgan where she loved caring for the elderly.

She also spent many of her later years doing genealogy and being an extractor. She had a righteous, faithful spirit and never wavered in her belief or testimony. We want to thank Symbii Hospice Group, with a special thanks to Melanie, Ashley, and Linda.

They have been a great comfort to Mom and Dad during these last few months. Above all, Connie loved her family and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be so missed by us all.
