Obituary for Shirely Mae Stone Print Shirley Mae Stone, age 85, of Bonner Springs, KS. , passed away on Sat. Feb.

16th, 2019. Visitation will be 1-2pm followed by the Memorial Service at 2pm, both Sat. Feb.

23rd, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association. Shirley Mae was second of three daughters born to Henry & Jewell Bell.

She was born on June 19, 1933 in Kansas City, Missouri. Shirley grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from Central High School in the class of 1952. She took a job at Black, Sivalls & Bryson Steel Mfg.

and later worked other secretarial jobs in Kansas City and Dallas. In her later years Shirley resided in Bonner Springs to be closer to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Samuel Stephen Stone in 1980.

Survivors include her daughter Shirlee Rusk and husband Rod of Kansas City, MO. , two sisters Rosamond Lee Banfield of Raymore, MO. , Barbara Sue Grimshaw and husband Bob of Clinton, MO.
