Shirley’s Obituary Shirley Ann Packer, 82, of Parkersburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born July 24, 1936, in Parkersburg, the daughter of the late Harrison A. and Mae B. Nicewander Sheppard. Shirley was an LPN at St. Joseph’s Hospital and with Loving Care Assisted Living; she was a member of Edgelawn United Methodist Church and also a member of the Wild Wonderful Camping Club.

Shirley enjoyed going to the beach at Myrtle and Florida. She is survived by her son, Johnny (Rose Anna) Packer of Waverly, WV; two grandchildren, Jason Packer and Tina Espy; and three great-grandchildren, Alexis, Austin and Alijah Espy. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie “Jim”; son, Randy; sister, Mildred Springston; and six brothers, Harry, Earl, Jim, Don, Keith and Kenny Sheppard.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am. on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Dan McVey officiating; burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm.
