Harry’s Obituary Harry Willard Smith III, 67, of Parkersburg, passed away on May 14, 2019. He was born July 28, 1951, in Parkersburg, the son of the late Harry W. Smith Jr. and Ida Oiler “Midge” Smith. Harry was a 1970 graduate of Parkersburg South High School.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Harry retired from C.F. Trucking as a truck driver after 20 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing blue grass music.

Harry also, loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by son, Israel Smith (Traci) of Parkersburg; daughter, Megan Bailey of Parkersburg; three grandchildren, Stephen and Wade Smith and Sydney Bailey; the mother of his children, Rhonda Leisure of Parkersburg; two sisters, Carolyn MacIntyre and Becky Nichols both of Parkersburg; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by three brothers, Steve Kesterson, David Smith and Michael Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor David Carrico officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 – 11 am on Friday at the funeral home.
