OBITUARY Shirley Ann Piazza February 27, 1938 – November 10, 2018 Shirley Ann Piazza, 80, of Port Arthur, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018 at her home with family by her side. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Shirley loved spending time with her family and her dogs. All of those who’ve had the good fortune to have known Shirley would agree the world has lost a wonderful loving woman.

Shirley was born February 27, 1938 in Groves, Texas to Earl Douglas Mudd and Margaret Claudia Courts. She was lifelong resident of Port Arthur/Groves Area. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Douglas & Margaret Mudd; husband of 35 years to Charles Allen Piazza.

She is survived by her children, Debra Piazza, Steve Piazza, Jody Piazza, Toni Rodrigues, Douglas Piazza, Jed Piazza, Darrin Piazza, Bernadette Fleming, Chad Piazza & Angel Perez; sister; Margaret Nolan of Groves; brother, Earl Mudd Jr. of Groves and grandchildren, Allen Piazza, Steve Piazza Jr., Heaven Piazza, Angela Meitzen Sullivan, Cody Rodrigues, Brad Mason, Christopher Piazza, Michele Piazza Riddick, Chad Piazza-Covington Jr., Maria Perez and Lenin Perez. Shirley also leaves behind numerous great grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives. We know she is now with her beloved husband Charles in Heaven.

She will be greatly missed in our lives, but now has been welcomed into God’s loving arms. A visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., with a service to begin at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
