Shirley’s Obituary Mrs. Sargeson passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019 at Bay Shores Nursing Care Center with her family by her side. Age 90 years. The daughter of the late John and Velva (Tilley) Wazny was born June 25, 1928 in Bay City, Michigan.

Mrs. Sargeson was a member of the Valley Rhythm Cloggers and enjoyed dogs, poodles, grooming dogs, bingo and going to Florida with her husband. Mrs. Sargeson is survived by her husband, William Sargeson Sr. whom she married on February 28, 1948; one son, Randy L. (Sue A.) Sargeson; three grandchildren, Thomas Sargeson, Jeffrey Sargeson and Stacey (Eric) Rohrer; her brother, William (Cathy) Wazny and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her son, William Sargeson Jr.; one brother, John Wazny and two sisters, Wilma Hogan-Ryan and Betty Lewandowski.

Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. with private interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial cards for the Bay County Humane Society will be available at the funeral home.
