Obituary for Shirley E. Ray Shirley Eilers Ray (Vaughan), 64, of Zanesville, returned to her heavenly home, December 3, 2018, following a sudden illness at her home. Shirley was born October 6, 1954, in Starkville, MS, the daughter of the late James and Evelyn (Craven) Vaughan and was a member of the Anchor Church. She was a devout Christian and enjoyed spreading God’s work and love to all she met.

Shirley was known for her love a butterflies and throughout her life resided in Mississippi, Florida and Ohio. Shirley is survived by her daughters, Amanda (Ryan) Fessenden of Gainesville, FL & Heather (Brandon) McKnight of Savannah, GA; two grandchildren, Ethan and Cambria; siblings James (Betty Jo) Vaughan of Starkville, MS, Brian (Joyce) Vaughan of Naples Florida, Cynthia Humphrey of Naples, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 15, 2018, at the Anchor Church, 1365 Chamberlin Street, Zanesville, and all are welcome.

A caring cremation has taken place and her remains will be scattered in Mississippi. The family would like to thank Brittany Dalton for her companionship and dedication to Shirley. Flowers and donations are gracefully declined, but prayers, condolences and memories are welcome at www.
