Obituary for Shirley E. Wintermuth Shirley Elizabeth Wintermuth, age 85, passed away on May 28, 2018. Shirley started her career at A.R.A., where she worked as an executive chef. After 20 or so years, Shirley left work to care for her family.

She not only watched over and cared for her husband and children, she also cared for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. During her later years in life, Shirley worked at Elite Marketing/Advantage Solutions for many years. Shirley was the matriarch of her family.

She is the cherished wife of the late William Wintermuth; the loving mother of Rosemary (David) Donaldson, Harold (Rose) Kelley, and Cheryl (Tom) Hepp; the beloved grandmother of Lisa (Russell) Ahrens, Mathew (Jennifer) Kelley, and Melanie (Robert) Vrooman; and the dear great-grandmother of Brianna Ahrens, Victoria Ahrens, Elizabeth Ahrens, Audrey Kelley, and Ella Vrooman. Shirley is preceded in death by her son, Edward Kelley, and her siblings Albert Fulks, Samuel Fulks, Mancil Fulks, Pauline Deaton, Dorothy Wall, Ersa Hall, and Doris Ghrist. Shirley’s family will receive friends at the Wm.

Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (3 blocks East of Van Dyke), Utica on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral service on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Christian Memorial Cultural Center. Memorial Contributions can be appreciated to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
