Obituary for Shirley Jean Higgins Reese (Massengale) Service for Shirley Jean Massengale Higgins Reese, 75, of Arlington, will be conducted at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 23, 2019. Mr. Charlie Osborne will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Cameron Stell, Rob Smith, Duane Wieland, and Sam Constance. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 22. Mrs. Reese was born February 20, 1943 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Eugene “Gene” Johnson and Evelyn Lula (Ingram) Massengale.

She grew up, married, and raised her family in Cleburne. She married Reggie Reese on April 16, 2002. She was a beautician, by trade, and made many wonderful friends.

She attended Central Church of Christ, when she lived in Cleburne. She is survived by her husband, Reggie; son, Keith Higgins; daughters, Rexanne Wieland and husband, Duane and Holli Wasson; son-in-law, Reggie Reese, Jr.; daughter–in-law Meagan Neumann and husband, James; grandchildren Jennifer Higgins, Cameron Stell, Hanna Higgins and Ava Reese; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Al Massengale, and granddaughter, Nikki Higgins.
