Obituary for Shirley Jean Hoffman Shirley Jean Hoffman (Wright) passed away Saturday September 8th peacefully at the age of 79. Born January 18, 1939 to Laverna and Carl Wright in Chico, California. She attended Chico schools and graduated in 1956 from Chico Senior High.

She worked at Artic Circle with her best friend Gloria Bolley Morgan before moving onto JC Penneys in 1978 and retired in 2007. She enjoyed going to Reno and Las Vegas with her friends, spending time with family as well as supporting 3 generations of racing with her Brother Jerry, son Jimmy and grandson Tanner. She is survived by her sons Jimmy Pettit and Harvey Disney, daughter Jacki Baker as well as grandchildren Tanner Pettit, Jennifer Silva and Cheri Disney, Brothers Jerry Wright (Shirley) and Mike Wright (Lori) To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Shirley Jean Hoffman please visit our Sympathy Store.
