Shirley Palmisano Williams, born December 3, 1940, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the age of 78. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter B. Palmisano and Lucy Michel Palmisano; and her brother, Joseph W. Palmisano. She is the beloved sister of Gayle P. DeSalvo (Charlie), and Ronald A. Palmisano (Rosalie).

She is the loving aunt of Randy Palmisano, Richelle P. Ackers, Brad Palmisano, Brandi P. Large, Jeffery DeSalvo, and Sheldon DeSalvo. She is also survived by her former husband, Joe Williams, numerous first and second cousins, other family and friends. She loved spending time with her family.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to express a special thank you to her cousin and caregiver, Brenda L. LeBlanc. They would also like to thank the staff of Heart of Hospice, Wynhoven Nursing Home, and staff and physicians at West Jefferson Medical Center for their loving care and kind support.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, January 26, 2019 beginning at 8:30 AM followed by a Memorial Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM from the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. , Marrero, LA. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
