Obituary for Shirley Roddy Mrs. Shirley Roddy of Fayetteville passed away May 6, 2018. She was a long time employee of Food Depot in Fairburn. Mrs. Roddy was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Lamar Roddy, Sr. and siblings, Charles Black; Joann Beddingfield; Brenda Dockery and Patricia Hill.

She is survived by her children, Danny Lamar Roddy, Jr. of Fayetteville; Theresa Lynn Burton of Carrollton; Melissa Ann Black and her husband Shane of Fayetteville; Charles Allen Roddy and his wife Michelle of Palmetto; sisters, Lois Brook of Mt. Zion; Diane Whitehead of Temple; Donna Abercrombie of Carrollton; brother, Danny Black of Franklin, NC; grandchildren, Ashley Roddy; Josh Roddy; Logan Roddy; Chelsey Roddy; Beau Allen Roddy; Brandon Adams; Rachelle Morgan; Elizabeth Williamson; Devin Roddy; Hailie Black and Kaylen Black and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 11 o’clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Chaplain Michael Hornsby and Deacon Randy Roddy officiating.
