Shirley’s Obituary Shirley (Sharpe) Daigle, 77 of Memphis entered eternal life on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. She was born on November 27, 1941 in Fraser, Michigan to the late William Sharpe and Leontine Sharpe. She graduated from Memphis High School in 1959.

On September 30, 1961 she married the love of her life David Daigle. They enjoyed 57 years together. Shirley was an active member of the American Legion Auxillary of Memphis and enjoyed playing bingo there as well as volunteering.

She also enjoyed her trips to the casino and up north with her husband. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy and doing crossword puzzles. Shirley also enjoyed her family and spending as much time with them as possible.

Shirley was preceded in death by her brother Edward Sharpe. Shirley is survived by her husband of 57 years, David Daigle of Riley Township; her children Debbie (Bill) Sawyer, Danette Daigle of Riley Township and Donald (Johnna) Daigle of Lenox Township. Shirley had three grandchildren Nicholas (Jaclyn) Sawyer, Nichole (Kyle) Worthing and Hunter Daigle.

Shirley is also survived by six great grandchildren Jack, Addison, Owen and Bryce Sawyer and Lydia and Layla Worthing. Shirley adored her family and her grandchildren tremendously and looked forward to watching her grandson Hunter every day. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm in the Kammeraad-Merchant Funeral Home, Memphis.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11:00am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Memphis Cemetery, Richmond Township. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Legion Auxillary.
