Shirley Smith Camp Kulbeth 77, of Pine Bluff, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019. She was born May 9, 1941 in Pine Bluff to the late Ollie and Lillian Purdy Smith. Shirley was reared and received her early education in Sherrill.

She was a 1959 graduate of Watson Chapel High School, then attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello. During her working life, she worked for Wonder Bread for 23 years, was a Teachers’ Aid at Jenkins Secondary School, the SnoCone Stand in Jefferson Square for 15 years, Redline Moving Company, was a school bus driver for Pine Bluff School District, and also sat with the elderly. Shirley enjoyed crocheting, fishing and going to the beach to collect shells, but she mostly loved caring for others.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, William “Bill” Kulbeth; a brother, Ollie Al Smith; and a grandchild, Dalton Pierce Gammill. Shirley is survived by her 3 children, Gharon Camp, Keenan (Teresa) Camp and Rebecca Dani Camp; 5 grandchildren, Tyler Camp, Hannah (Reed) Gray-Grant, Blaine Gammill, Dakota Hall and Cody (Krystal) Gammill; a great grandchild that is due in July; and her dog, Lilbit. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 1, 2019 at New Beginnings Baptist Church with Bro.

Charles Cantwell officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 PM until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Beginnings Baptist Church.
