Shirley M. Thome, 79, of Lebanon passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Dale Thome, who died in 2013. Born in Lebanon County on February 24, 1940, she was the daughter of the late George and Elsie (Troxell) Krall.

She ran a day care out of her home for many years. Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and day care children. She also enjoyed spending time going out to eat with her brother and sisters.

She enjoyed watching Golden Girls, Family Feud and David Jeremiah. She is survived by a son Steve D. husband of Karen Thome of Gillett; daughters Tammy J. wife of Brian Weikel of Lebanon, Lisa M. Collins of Lebanon; Charity L. Thome of Richland and 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; brother Merlin Krall of Jonestown; and sisters Betty Brandt of Myerstown, Doris Swisher of Myerstown, Janice Nolan of Jonestown and Sue Dunn of Fredericksburg. She was preceded in death by brothers Donald & Gene Krall and sisters Helen Krall, Bernadine Fittery, Arlene Obyle & Barbara White.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at 11:00 AM from the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd. , Jonestown.
