Shiro “Sam” Iwai April 15, 1936 – December 15, 2018 Share this obituary Local Florists Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Funeral services for the late Shiro Iwai, 82-year-old, Los Angeles, CA born resident of Montebello, who passed away on December 15, 2018, will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple 815 E. First St. in Los Angeles. He had a very full life fishing, golfing, gardening and most of all enjoying his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Aimee Iwai; children, Rick (Corrine) and Perry Iwai, Julie (Daniel) Kitaguchi, and Lorie Iwai; grandchildren, Alyssa and Jenae Kitaguchi, Briana, Kira, Evan and Emily Iwai; great-grandchildren, Danni Jude and Dezzy Guillen; siblings, Setsuko, Seiji, Kazuo (Cary) and Michio Iwai; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
