Sid Barbosa was born South Bend, Indiana September 16,1948 to Sylvester and Maria Guadalupe Barbosa Sr.. He and Marolyn Solomon were married in Jacksboro, Texas May 30,1997. Sid was a member of Southwest Baptist Church and worked as a self employed plumber.

Sid passed away Thursday, February 28,2019 in Decatur, Texas at the age of 70 years old. He is survived today by his wife, Marolyn; his son, Joey Barbosa and wife Brittany; stepchildren, Andrea Williams and husband Terry; Cory Hudson and wife Lorelei and Michael McCurdy; his brother, Adam Barbosa and wife Charlene; his sister,; Josie Devora; Eva and Juanita as well as 12 grandchildren.
